Purple shampoo and Marula oil to the rescue!

Today, I am trying out a new purple shampoo. This is my first time using this product.

My initial observation:

• thin viscosity

• deep purple color

• light vanilla smell

I used quite a lot on my hair today so I can really demonstrate its effects. It lathers up easily. It does not seem the least bit drying and was feeling smooth and hydrating as I was rinsing it out.

The effect:

• brightened up my silvers

• did not leave a purple or blue cast

• very faint vanilla smell afterwards

My opinion:

This is a wonderful shampoo for a first-timer. It was not drying or smelly (in a bad way). It’s texture is thin and easy to apply. It does not dye your hair purple. It does not stain your shower.

HerStyler Marula Oil

After washing and styling my hair, I always apply a hair oil for shine, softness and to tame those frizzies. This oil is more like a serum; it is thick.

It smells so gorgeous! Floral 🌸🌹🌺🌷

How I apply it: I dispense one pump into my hand, rub my hands together spreading the oil all around my fingers and then rake through the ends of my hair. For my bangs, I use a tiny amount and rub into my fingertips and apply to the tips of my bangs in a twisting motion.

I love this oil so much! This is my new go-to oil after styling.
