Wonderskin Makeup Review

I’ve been using my WONDERSKIN products for a couple of months now, and I want to give my review of what I think of these products and which ones do I actually really use. These products were given to me for an honest review.

First, I want to start with the eyeliner. This is the darkest eyeliner I have ever seen. I really love how it applies. I just freshly sharpened mine. I’m going to start by lining my waterline. This is where WONDERSKIN really shines, because most pencil eyeliners aren’t very opaque on the waterline.

You can smudge it a little bit right after using it. I like to smudge my lower lash line. I may use my finger tor a pencil brush o smudge and soften that line. It does dry down, and then you won’t be able to smudge it anymore.

One of the downsides that I have noticed with this eyeliner because it is so strong, it tends to strains, it is a little harder to take off my makeup. It also has stained my sink, and I have not been able to black out of there, because I dropped a little chunk of it in the sink.

Be careful with this eyeliner; don’t break it or drop it in your sink!

One other downside of this eyeliner is that it is a little harder to sharpen than most other pencils. I had stopped using it for a while, because I thought it was impossible to sharpen, since the pencil material is so hard and the product inside is so soft that it tends to mush in the pencil sharpener. It turns out that I was using a dull old-school pencil sharpener, and you need a sharp pencil sharpener for this eyeliner. It sharpens just fine!

Let’s talk about the lip stain. I have to admit that this is a very light color. This one is not a particularly dark stain. It’s not going to change the color of my lips much, because my lips already have a lot of color in them. Let’s give it a whirl!

immediately upon opening, it is very impressive; it is a gorgeous metallic indigo color. That’s very fun, but it doesn’t stay that color; it is just the stain. I’m going to stain one half of my lips so that we can see the difference. I’m also going to swatch it on my wrist so we can get a more accurate view of its color.

I let it dry so that it is dry to-the-touch. To take it off, you can gently rub it and it should flake off. When using a damp cloth to remove the rest, it was a tiny bit messy —not too bad.

Did it actually stain? Yes, I do notice the difference on my lips. They are a more vibrant color. And you can see the pink clearly on my wrist.

This one is the shade “XOXO” which is a light pink. If you are looking for a more intense stain, there are more intense colors.

Let’s move on to the lip liner. This one is in the color “saddle,” which is brownish and one of my favorite lip colors. You can’t take the 90s out of the girl!

The formula on this is very soft, and it deposits a lot of color. I think this is a really terrific lip liner! I love the consistency of it and how much it deposits on my lips, and it’s not going to wipe off! This has the power to stay all day day —a lot like that eyeliner likes to stay on all day too!

Last but not least is the lip gloss. This one is my favorite! This is just a simple clear lip gloss. What I really like about it is that the consistency is perfect; it is not sticky. It is very thick and glossy.

Does it smell nice? Yes, it does. I like scented products, and this one smells sweet like candy.

—-My final thoughts on these products—-

I love how black the eyeliner is. I don’t love how it stains things. It’s overall worth it if you’re looking for a dark eyeliner that won’t smudge or fade or go anywhere all day. It is truly darker than the rest!

The lip liner is second to none! It’s a really great lip liner with wonderful color deposit and staying power. I love it!

The lip stain is ok. I don’t usually stain my lips, however if you are someone who likes to stain their lips, you will probably like this product. I think it’s cool-looking with the metallic indigo color.

We can’t forget how love the gloss is. I just love the packaging. Can we not talk about the holographic packaging? I love it!
