I’m excited to create the farmhouse sink of my dreams, and I’m going to use my favorite vintage cabinet for this project. First, I need to take off all the hardware, and mount just the front of the drawer to the cabinet.
Then, cut out the opening for the sink.
Let’s see how the sink fits. Excellent. Take the sink out, mount on the top and cut the opening.

And now, several layers of white paint.
I’m also installing adjustable feet under the front for extra support.
We are ready for the faucet. I chose this simple black faucet to match the original hardware.

Now let’s turn it on. This is really a beautiful sink of high quality. It’s very solid and is rather hefty. The drain is perhaps the coolest feature with the removable metal basket.
