7 Beauty Trends to Try this Spring
With each season comes new makeup trends. Even though it’s not important to necessarily follow trends, it’s always fun to see what is new and trendy. Will you try any of these trends for spring 2023?
When you go to “shop my faves,” you can find more special products than what is mentioned in this article.
Here are my top 7 “Beauty Must Haves” for spring 2023
Trend #1 dewy skin
The no-makeup makeup look is always popular as less is often more. This year the natural complexion look will be seen more often as more and more people are ditching the foundation. The perfect way to get dewy, hydrated beautiful natural skin is to keep it hydrated well. In addition to consuming enough water, a good skin moisturizer and skin oil will give your skin a beautiful look that cannot be outdone by makeup.
Trend #2 clean eyes, long lashes
It seems as though the complicated cut crease eyeshadow and elaborate designs are taking a back seat to simple clean eyes. To achieve this look you can simply apply the mascara in a few coats for optimal length. To further enhance this look, you can also opt to tight-line the eyes and add false lashes.
Trend #3 - shiny curls & waves
Hair oil has become the most important element for healthy hair care. Hair loses natural oil for many reasons such as bleaching, dyeing, or aging. Keep your hair looking its best with adding a little oil. I find that it works best by applying a few drops to your hands and raking through completely dry hair. This works great for both curly and straight hair.
Trend #4 shiny rosy cheeks
Going along with the dewy skin trend this year, cream blushes are the perfect compliment to dewy skin. A cream blush melts into the skin and looks natural whereas a powder blush can accentuate skin texture.
Trend #5 sheer lipstick
2023’s natural skin trend is beautifully paired with a sheer lipstick. Popular shades like roses, reds, berries, and orange poppy
Keep those lips exfoliated, plumped and moisturized!
trend #6 voluminous roots
mousse
Ever since the shag started becoming popular again just a short few years ago, the quest for more volume continues. Applying mousse to damp hair and blow drying your hair can create lots of volume and texture. It provides both conditioning and hold, without any clumps or build-up.
trend #7 3D manicure
For those who love creating their own manicure look, 3D add-ons are a great way to elevate the style of your painted fingernails. Popular this year are rhinestones, bubbles and dangling chains.
